I went for a pretty long walk down the canal last week. I was really hoping to find a huge mix of flowers to press, but there were only a couple of different varieties. Maybe I was too early? Oh well, they were still pretty and they're now busy drying. I bought some wild flower seeds from ebay which I'm planning on planting down that way too. I already planted a few at home, can't wait to see what comes out of them. The seeds are so interesting looking! Down the canal, I bumped into four ducklings trying to cross the path, a few geese and a couple of swans!
Recently, I have also been spending a lot of time drawing. I'm completely out of practise. I have been learning how to touch up and colour in my drawings using my bamboo tablet. So much fun. I can't wait to get better and show you some stuff! What about you? What have you been up to?
Going back to drawing/sketching after time off always feel quite odd. I'm also trying to teach myself the wonders of graphics tablets! It's a lot of fun, even at times when frustration takes over and makes you throw the pen across the room. Or is that just me?
