I love when I finish off a design I've planned, but my gosh! Stitching lettering is SO tough. Spacing, sizing, straight lines... I had no idea how stressful it could be! I'm reasonably new to embroidery so I'll keep on practicing. I'm not that happy with this, but I can't imagine starting again after that stress haha. I'm planning an Autumny project next. (I am SO happy it's now officially Autumn, the best season), lots of golds and orange and a little Emily Bronte quote. Do you embroider? Whats the toughest part for you?
I actually just bought a book on embroidering. I haven't tried it yet, but can't wait to! I love your whale! So fun!

I love homemade gifts. they're so personal. I love how Kate from Signed with an Owl used the wedding invitation for the embroidery piece. So lovely. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
