A Story & A Stitch.

____________

I grew up in a pretty tiny village on the outskirts of a pretty tiny town. As soon as I hit 18 I was desperate to get out of there. I chose a city about 40miles away, Leeds! And started applying for jobs. After a load of hard work I finally landed one. Commuting from my parents house into Leeds was a bummer. I was tired. So, as soon as I had a little money behind me I started looking for a place to live in the city. This was tough as I wasn't earning that much money and knew no-one there. Then, over a mutual fondness of a fat cat called called Prince Chunk, I met Kate!

A couple of months later myself, Kate, along with her best friend (and soon to be my friend) Amy found the perfect 3 bedroom house and moved in together! The house was on Ashville Avenue, and I loved that place. We stayed there for almost 2 years, and I really had the most amazing time.

Kate introduced me to so many amazing things I still love now. If it wasn't for her badgering me into going out one night I'd have never met Dixon. It's safe to say my life would be pretty shitty if I hadn't met Kate.

Tonight, the three of us are getting together again to say see ya to Kate, as she is moving away! Booo. I'm super sad to see her go. To make sure she never forgets our time together, I have made this little hoop. Ashville Forever.

  1. How cute!
Living far away from a best friend is hard. I know because mine is 6 hours away :\
The memories will always be there and she's only a phone call away!

  5. Oh that is the cutest gift. It's also really nice that you managed to get out of your city and fulfil some goals. I don't know if you're interested, but I gave you a Liebster Award. I just posted about it on my blog, feel free not to take part and post it on yours, but I'd love it if you answered the questions anyway. Have a great leaving do (ish) for Kate :) x
