Over the last few days Dixon and me have bottled up some more home-brew; the Christmas batch! We have Christmas Reinbeer and Ginger Ale, and plenty of it. I thought they would look amazing with hand stamped labels. I didn't realise, however, that I would have to stamp around 100 labels. Ouch!! It took a while but it was worth it in the end, they look cute.
I can't wait to taste them (the ginger ale is extra spicy, we used chilli!). They should be ready in a few weeks. I'm pretty excited to take them back to my parents house for everyone to try. We're having Christmas dinner at my brothers house this year so it'll be nice to take something for everyone.
ps. I have to give all the brewing credit to Dixon. I only help with the syphoning and labelling. He's a handsome genius.
I'd love to try that ginger beer, maybe you guys should start your own brewery? i'd buy some! those hand stamped labels look great, good team effort x
ReplyDeleteI'm sure starting our own brewery is Dixons dream! Maybe one day, watch this space

Aw I'd love to have a crack at this! I would be chuffed if you brought them to my house so well done =) xx
ReplyDeleteGinger beer is pretty easy to make! Much easier then regulars beers etc! I hope my family enjoy it, the harshest critics!!

my hubby brews as well, and that's about all the help I am too. :) Sometimes I help put the caps on, but he's the brew-master. These look great! Your stamp set is so cute.
ReplyDeleteHaha, i've tried to help cap before but I'm useless at it! Thank you!!

Ginger beer is my favourite!! If it is spicy, you should try it with vodka and lime juice. YUM.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great idea! I was hoping to make ice cream floats with it, but it's definitely too spicy for that

Makes me want to try some myself.

Chilli ginger ale sounds amazing! Looks good, and I love the reinbeer name. I can't wait to try home brewing myself when I go home.
ReplyDeleteSo many people just dont get the 'Reinbeer'! Ha. I'm glad you like it.
