Shop Independent This Christmas // Gift Guide

I'm sure I don't have to tell you the benefits of shopping and giving independently this Christmas. Every single tiny purchase means the world to makers and creators (have a read of the 'Just a Card' campaign, if you haven't already); add something handmade to you wishlist, give something handmade to friends. Go into that independent shop in town! Buy cards and wrapping paper from local illustrators. You're not just keeping those people going, you are going to get something beautiful and unique to have forever.

It's so hard narrowing a list down like this (so I'm going to do a couple!!). There are so many incredible, talented people out there that you should be buying from during the holidays (and so many things I'm in love with). Here are a few favourites right now:

Birthday Wishlist

My birthday is 10 days away! I used to have pretty terrible birthdays, but recently they have been pretty awesome! And unlike me, I actually have a ton of things that I would really love to receive (or treat myself with). There are also a lot of things that I really need; SHOES. I am desperate for some walking boots and trainers. I also needs some new earphones! My iphone ones gave in a while ago, and I'm having music withdrawal. I'd love a couple of records (Martha and Menace Beach mainly)! I also would love some circular needles (I'm planning to try out knitting a jumper!) and some beautiful yarn to use with them.

January Favourites.

This planner is so so  sogood. I always plan out my months like this, so I can plan out my financial ins and outs. This planner would make it so much easier (and prettier). (via. Room121)

Christmas Wish List.

Usually when Christmas comes around there is nothing I want, and my family will get annoyed that I have nothing to suggest to them, this year is totally different! There is tonnes of stuff I really want, of course I don't need half of it, but it'd be nice to have. This year I'm hoping for books, mostly. What about you? Here are a few other things I wouldn't mind finding under the tree:

1// Vanillary - I loovvve this perfume, it isn't too sweet like a lot of vanilla scents. And of course its vegan, which is pretty difficult with perfumes!
