See Ya September AND OCTOBER!

September is finished, so is October! TIme is absolutely flying by at the minute, I have so much going on that weeks are passing by without even noticing. Honestly, time is going by so far I can't keep up. Things are going pretty awesome though, and I'm planning to start up regular posts again really soon!

September

In September I finally learnt to crochet! I did my first granny square, I made Eva a hat and made snowflakes too. I started knitting hats for christmas gifts. I made bunting my mu number one little man, Rory. It was misty, and rainy, and cold. Dixons work had a party at an awesome new place in town. I had a night sky bath, thanks to lush. And planned a load for my Etsy Made Local stall.
October

October was awesome. I spent a ton of time in my sewing room but outside of that I tried to enjoy Autumn as much as possible. I cut about 5 inches off my hair! I made mittens from an old cardigan! We went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and it was beautiful. I drank so much coffee. And finally, I made myself a tartan laptop bag, which a whole load of fancy new techniques. I spent a day at a care home helping them paint.

See Ya June!

I am so so late on this post! JUNE! The half way point of the year, is finished... And yep, another pretty great month. July will be saving and getting ready for our holiday to Barcelona. It will include just as much sewing as this month too. I'm going to start going to the Leeds Etsy team meetings. AND I joined a gym!! So I'm going to try and do that as much as possible too.

In June we took a trip the Cow & Calf Rocks! I broke into my black framed polaroids (they amazing!)". I finally got a simpsons tattoo. I had my first ever craft fair. I hit 10 sales on my etsy. One went to Sweden! And not to Minnesota!! I did a lot of sewing and made some things I am really proud of, including a few custom orders. I had a family portrait of us drawn! And I went to Bristol with work (boo), but I got to go on a boat, which was pretty cool.

See Ya May!!

MAY. May was a great month, for a ton of reasons. But, I have a feeling June is going to be even better. I have my first ever craft fair (which I'm kind of scared about!!). I will also be antique shopping, band seeing, party going, Simpson tattooing and, of course, sewing a ton.

May was when I opened my etsy shop and made my first few sales. I said if I sold two things in my first week I would be incredibly happy, and I did! I explored the bluebell filled woods a few times. Got a load of amazing vintage fabric. Met a hedgehog up close! Helped out Stitch Up at the Leeds Arts Party. Learnt to sew pockets into dresses. Played trivial pursuit with Dixon. Saw The Julie Ruin play at my favourite venue. And finally found somewhere that makes a decent coffee near our house, AND on our dog walking route. I also moved my domain over to a cute page for shop & blog!

See Ya April.

This month has been BUSY. I have hardly had time to blog at all, or read blogs, which makes me sad (but excited to read a ton in one go). May is going to be the most exciting month! On the first I am going to open by Etsy shop! I am going to sew loads and (hopefully) enjoy the amazing weather that has been creeping up on us recently.

This month we found a load of wild garlic in Sunderland, we made garlic bread and it as great! I spent a lot of time in my craft room! I started adding things to my wall and it looks amazing in there. I did a load of tie-dying. It was sunny! Dixon, me and Eva went to a beer garden and it was great. I bought new cacti from the market. I made some beautiful pouches from vintage fabric. Eva came back from a walk extremely wet and extremely smelly. I took a load of polaroids (which I'll share soon!). It was a friend from works wedding, they had a photobooth!! I went for the sailor hat, duh. My pile of zippers is looking pretty huge! The best new pins, so beautiful. Me and Kate had a crafternoon, we carved stamps and I taught her to sew a tote bag!
