1 February 2013

See ya January!

January isn't usually the best month. The aftermath of Christmas leaves my belly too round and my bank account too empty. This time though, it was different. I had a great opening to 2013. I've started a whole boat load of projects and made the first exciting steps towards writing as a career. It was cold though! Just when I'd started to think maybe we had skipped the harshest Winter weather. Now, onto February; My Birthday month! I have so much planned for February.

In January I made a few visits to one of my favourite places, the Brudenell Social Club; To an Ale festival, to see some bands and finally to see off my friend Kate (It snowed so much taxis weren't running and I had to walk home!). I had mac & cheese for the first time (Thanks Veganomicon & to Dixon for making it). I started to teach myself some new skills & I baked bread. We also decided to go to Primavera again (who could say no to that line up?), and booked our flights! Barcelona is my favourite place. I built a huge bookcase and had too much fun filling it up. I exercised a little and learnt a lot. Mint green was the colour of the month. How was your January?

Keep up with those resolutions. I'm getting there little by little.
I'm so jealous of all the snow. Haven't seen any this year.

    1. The snow was fun at first, but it left a lot of ice and was not nice to walk in!
